The App is the school’s official platform and is the main communication method for parents/guardians. It is private and secure. Only current parents/guardians, students and teachers have access.
It provides parents with a ‘single point of engagement’ for all school related information and administration tasks including:
The App will also allow a direct link to access VSware and the school website from the same portal. From a systems viewpoint the App is not intended to replace our main ‘Teaching/Learning’ & organisational platform (Microsoft Office/Teams) or our Management Information System for school reports (VSware) but as more effective communication service which is GDPR compliant and reduces handling and use of paper.
If a user has auto-update switched on in the phone settings the update process will be done automatically. Otherwise they will see an UPDATE message in the Notifications screen – select UPDATE to complete the process.
The user will be asked to verify their mobile number during the update process. This must be the mobile number you have supplied to the school. If a user has changed their mobile number of if they have not supplied a mobile number to the school they will not be able to access the App.
